General Terms and Conditions

HeatCare+ is the designated name for the heating and boiler cover provided by Heat Professional Heating Services Limited. Our plans offer comprehensive coverage with no excess charges for use of our services, and no limit on the number of callouts or repairs, subject to individual plan terms.

We do not cover aesthetic/decorative repairs, nor damage from weather, third-party interference, or unqualified work. Routine tasks like topping up pressure, battery replacement, or frozen pipe defrosting are also excluded. Sludge/debris damage is not covered unless flushed as advised.

If faults are caused by installation within 6 months, they are covered. We offer a 12-month workmanship warranty. We reserve the right to cancel contracts with a pro-rated refund. We are not liable for accommodation or secondary heating costs.

Your Cover with HeatCare+

All HeatCare+ plans require an annual service (unless a new install). Coverage begins after payment and is renewed yearly. Non-payment may lead to cancellation. If repair is uneconomical, we’ll advise on a replacement. Extended warranty terms apply only to original customers and are void if unsubscribed.

Your Responsibilities with HeatCare+

Homeowners must allow safe access and provide adult supervision. You’re responsible for asbestos removal, access equipment if needed, and keeping contact details up to date. We may need cost approval before undertaking extra work.

Our Responsibilities with HeatCare+

We aim to attend the same day if notified by 10AM. Callouts outside hours will be monitored but cannot be guaranteed. We provide fair access to parts and will not charge for multiple visits due to parts delivery delays.

Full Exclusions – All HeatCare+ Plans
  • Any services or repairs related to the heating system, home electrics, or plumbing outside the boiler casing.
  • Replacement of decorative radiators.
  • Hot water cylinders.
  • Drainage or drains.
  • Damage to the system caused by limescale, sludge, or debris.
  • Leak sealant or related chemicals (unless recommended and quoted separately).
  • Damage due to external factors like fire, flood, or natural disasters.
  • Repairs or replacements resulting from homeowner negligence or misuse.
  • Modifications or alterations made to the system without prior approval.
  • Repairs or replacement of parts not meeting industry standards or no longer available.
  • Issues arising from the use of incompatible or unauthorised third-party components.
  • Fixing showers, their parts, or shower pumps.
  • Fixing any system that supplies a swimming pool.
  • Repairing or replacing taps.
  • Unbalanced heating.
  • DIY repairs and damage.
  • Blocked plate heat exchangers.
  • External pipes (condensate pipework) that are frozen and require defrosting.
  • External blockages to condensate pipework.
  • Smart controls not installed by Heat Leicester.
  • Routine tasks such as resetting controls, topping up sealed systems, replacing batteries, defrosting frozen pipes.
  • Radiator painting, rust, or cosmetic appearance.
  • Accessibility-related extras such as scaffolding, ladders, or non-standard lifting gear.
  • Systems affected by vermin, infestations, or internal corrosion due to age or lack of maintenance.
  • System design faults or compatibility issues due to property layout.
  • Tanks in inaccessible locations or unsupported attic spaces.
  • Works related to solar panels, solar thermal, or other renewable heating systems.
  • Any item explicitly not included under your plan or manufacturer warranty.
Booking, Cancellation & Refund Policies

Book online at heatbookonline.as.me/Service or call 0116 278 8222. You can cancel a care plan within 14 days for a full refund (minus any boiler service already performed). For appointments, 24 hours' notice is required to avoid charges.
